SMS Opt-In: How We Collect Consent

Last updated September 2026. This page documents the complete consent flow for the Salt City Junk Haulers LLC text messaging program.

Salt City Junk Haulers LLC sends text messages only to people who have opted in through one of the two methods below. We do not purchase, rent, or import phone number lists, and we do not message past customers who have not opted in through one of these two methods.

Method 1 - Website quote request form

Where: https://saltcityjunkhaulers.pages.dev/#quote

Who opts in: a customer or prospective customer who is requesting a free junk removal quote.

How: the visitor enters their name, mobile phone number, email address, city, and a description of the items they need removed. Below those fields are two separate consent checkboxes. Both are optional and both are unchecked by default. Neither is required to submit the form and neither is bundled with any other agreement. The full disclosure text sits inside each checkbox label, visible before the visitor submits the form.

Transactional consent checkbox, exact text:

I consent to receive transactional text messages and alerts from Salt City Junk Haulers LLC at the phone number provided, including appointment reminders, booking confirmations, quote replies, arrival notifications, and service updates. (Optional)

Message frequency varies, typically 2-6 messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Promotional consent checkbox, exact text:

I consent to receive promotional and marketing text messages from Salt City Junk Haulers LLC at the phone number provided, including special offers, discounts, and seasonal specials. (Optional)

Separate, optional marketing consent. Message frequency varies, typically no more than 2 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. What happens next: the submission is stored in our CRM with the date and time and with a record of which boxes were checked. Only the box or boxes the customer checked are honored. If neither box is checked, we respond by phone call or email only.

Method 2 - Customer texts us first (keyword opt-in)

Where: the customer sends a text message from their own mobile phone to (385) 475-5075.

Keywords: QUOTE, START, JUNK, YES, UNSTOP.

Who opts in: a customer or prospective customer who chooses to text our published business number, which appears on this website, on our Google Business Profile, and on our vehicle.

Automatic confirmation reply, exact text:

Salt City Junk Haulers LLC: you are subscribed to transactional texts and alerts (quote replies, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, arrival notifications, service updates). Msg frequency varies, typically 2-6 per job. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

What happens next: the inbound message and the date and time are stored in our CRM as the consent record. A customer who texts us first is opted in to transactional messages and alerts only. Promotional messages are never sent on the strength of an inbound text; promotional consent comes only from the separate checkbox in Method 1.

Opting out and getting help

STOP. Replying STOP to any message removes the number from all Salt City Junk Haulers LLC messaging immediately. The customer receives one final confirmation and no further messages:

You have been unsubscribed from Salt City Junk Haulers LLC texts and will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.

HELP. Replying HELP to any message returns:

Salt City Junk Haulers LLC: junk removal in Salt Lake County, UT. Call or text (385) 475-5075, call (801) 557-1063, or email saltcityjunkhaulers@gmail.com for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

STOP, START, and HELP are handled automatically by our messaging platform. Customers can also opt out by calling (801) 557-1063 or emailing saltcityjunkhaulers@gmail.com.
